Hello everyone! Thanks again for your patience as we have worked overtime to get History Makers out the door. We're thrilled to share that the very last History Makers packages shipped yesterday, and if you have not already received your email confirmation with tracking information, you should receive it very soon. If you still have not received it by the end of the day, please contact us at [email protected] and we'll look up your order to help you manually find it. Your cards will be arriving in playing card shaped boxes (images below) with branding from our shipping and fulfillment partner, Playingcards.net. 

We are thrilled with how the cards turned out, and we hope you agree:

Shipping next week!

Thank you all so much for your patience — the cards will be on their way next week!

After hitting delays due to COVID, supply chain issues, and some manufacturing delays, we are thrilled to share that shipping of the The Woman Cards: History Makers will begin next week (Week of 11/21) and cards should start arriving the week after that. (Week of 11/28.) After your order ships, you should begin receiving email updates on the progress of your order as it makes its way to you like you would with any e-commerce order.

Playing cards are printed in sheets like this, before they are run through a cards "slicing" machine, like this: 

(Obviously the cards above are not our cards, but you get the idea.)

 The two black cards at the end are known as the "promo" cards.

 Hildegard is one of Zeb's favorite illustrations.

We are thrilled with how the cards and tuck box (photos of which we'll be sharing in another update) turned out. We are very disappointed with ourselves that this project is shipping two months late, but we know the final product is worth the wait, and our manufacturing and shipping teams are working through the weekend to get your order ready.

Backers,

Just wanted to give you a quick heads up that we will be charging credit cards for those folks who purchased "add-on" items using BackerKit, our information collection software. If you made such a purchase, you should see a charge on your credit card in the next few days. If you did NOT make such a purchase, feel free to ignore this update.

An Overdue Update from The Woman Cards: History Makers

Dear Backers- 

Thanks for your patience as we have worked diligently over the summer to bring this project to life. We have some good news and some bad news:

• The bad news is that we are unfortunately running behind schedule, due (1) to Zeb (the illustrator's) battle with COVID and some long-haul symptoms in June and July and (2) challenges with supply chain and manufacturing issues. 
• The good news is that we do have a revised shipping date, and we expect to begin shipping History-Makers the week of November 14, so all decks, posters, and prints WILL arrive before the fall holidays.
• More good news: you're able to see the final proofs of all our art - and the tuck box - on our public google drive folder, using this link.

Again, we feel terrible about the delay in shipping, as there is nobody who is more excited about you getting your cards than us, but we are glad to have a revised shipping date and assurances from our manufacturing and shipping teams that we will be able to hit our new shipping goal. 

Finally, if you have not already provided your shipping information in BackerKit, PLEASE BE SURE TO DO SO at your earliest convenience. Over 90% of our backers have already supplied their information, which we need in order to ship your rewards. You can provide your information using this link:
